Frith spent her childhood in a small vilage on the Northwest coast of the Scottish Highlands. She studied painting at Leith School of Art followed by The Drawing Year postgraduate programme at the Royal Drawing School, and now lives and works in Edinburgh. Currently, she is Hauser & Wirth Artist in Residence in Braemar, the Cairngorms. In July 2025 she will be showing in The Power of Drawing, an exhibition at The Royal Drawing School in London.
